YK-11 is a synthetic steroidal selective androgen receptor modulator (SARM) which also functions as an active myostatin inhibitor. It tricks the body into a growth phase without limiting its growth.

The science

YK-11 is chemically known as YK11; (17α,20E)-17,20-[(1-methoxy ethylidene)bis(oxy)]-3-oxo-19-nonpregnant-4,20-diene-21-carboxylic acid methyl ester. What makes it popular is its dual action mechanism – both as a SARM and a myostatin inhibitor, YK-11 allows experimenting and researching with a compound that very effectively acts as both and is significantly more anabolic & androgenic than for example a steroid such as dihydrotestosterone (DHT).
