YK-11 is a synthetic steroidal selective androgen receptor modulator (SARM) which also functions as an active myostatin inhibitor. It tricks the body into a growth phase without limiting its growth.

The science

YK-11 is chemically known as YK11; (17α,20E)-17,20-[(1-methoxy ethylidene)bis(oxy)]-3-oxo-19-nonpregnant-4,20-diene-21-carboxylic acid methyl ester. What makes it popular is its dual action mechanism – both as a SARM and a myostatin inhibitor, YK-11 allows experimenting and researching with a compound that very effectively acts as both and is significantly more anabolic & androgenic than for example a steroid such as dihydrotestosterone (DHT). It doesn’t have some of its adverse effects, such as hair loss and prostate enlargement while providing many benefits.

Unlike traditional Anabolic Androgenic Steroids (AAS), SARMs and YK11 in particular, have highly anabolic effects but they are very selective in how they work. They are more targeted, interfere less with normal body functions and as such have fewer side effects than AAS.

YK-11 gives some very exciting possibilities however the case is complicated yet as research data on it is still very limited.

Dosage protocol

YK-11: 30 days per bottle

Recommended dose: 1ml (one dropper) once per day at a consistent time (I.e every morning before breakfast).

Cycle duration: Typically run for 10 to 12 weeks.

Combinations

Some bodybuilders stack YK-11 with Ligandrol and Testolone while lowering the dose of YK11.
As YK-11 may cause mild testosterone suppression it’s good to try PCTing it with Nolvadex or Clomid.
Some users recommend for optimal results to stack it with RAD140, LGD-4033 or Andarine (as long as your YK11 dosage is no more than 5mg a day).
